Admission and Enrollment
Hermosa Montessori School is a private Tucson preschool and a tuition-free public charter school for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school students.
Hermosa’s admission process begins with a school tour and classroom visits. We encourage you to become acquainted with our school and receive a personal orientation to our various pre-school, kindergarten, elementary and middle school Montessori classrooms. Please contact Hermosa to schedule an appointment. The open enrollment period for the private pre-school program, and the kindergarten entry level of the charter program begins in mid February of each year. Enrollment preference is given siblings of currently enrolled students. New students are accepted on a first come, first served , space available basis. When classes reach capacity, students not enrolled are placed on a waiting list. Before and after school care is offered for pre-school through elementary age students.
