"Mad Science"

Hermosa has partnered with Mad Science to offer an after school science program. Mad science’s mission “is to spark the imagination and curiosity of children everywhere by providing them with fun, interactive, hands-on educational programs that instill a clear understanding of what science is really about and how it affects the world around us. Mad Science classes encourage children to think outside the box and ask good questions that they can then take back to their parents and teachers, extending their learning at home and at school. Students participate in a variety of hands-on, inquiry based, themed-activities. At the end of each Mad Science class, children will bring home an experiment that is directly correlated with that week’s class theme.”
