Hermosa Montessori School's Music Programs
Hermosa's music program uses the Kindermusic approach for preschool music, and the Orff and Kodaly approaches to teach Arizona general music standards to kindergarten through elementary students. Students have instruction in singing, performance, music theory, music notation, solfege hand signs, and rhythm. Students play glockenspiel, xylophone, metallophone, recorder, and other percussion instruments. The Hermosa music program includes folk dance and music of American and international culture.
