School Year 2011-2012 Registration Information

Registration for school year 2011-2012 will occur on Friday, July 29 th from 9:00 a.m. – noon and 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. Completed forms must be returned at registration or via mail prior to Friday, July 29th Please make arrangements with Theresa Garrone at theresag@hermosaschool.org or ext. 202 to pick-up forms ahead of time if you are absolutely unable to attend registration. Information centers regarding important school programs for the upcoming year will be available on July 29 th only. Log-in information for online parent handbooks and directory will also be available at this time. This is a great opportunity to get your questions answered!

Swimming Permission- Grades 1-8 only
New Emergency Contact and Health Registration forms are required for all students this year. Bring
your contact list. For Pre and K please provide addresses for emergency contacts as well as your doctor and
preferred hospital. All contacts should be local, in case they need to pick up your student!
Orientation for new and transitioning students and parents will be:
Preschool and Kindergarten
Tuesday, August 9 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Bring your student to their classroom and proceed to the middle school. Look for your child's orientation and phase-in schedule at registration. Make sure you pick up this
important postcard!
Lower Elementary & Upper Elementary
Tuesday, August 9 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Elementary orientation is for students who are entering Lower or Upper Elementary and their parents. Bring
your student to their classroom and proceed to the middle school. Orientation will include a one hour
informational presentation followed by a pizza lunch. Don't miss this opportunity to get to know your
student's teachers and peers. At registration you should R.S.V.P. the number of adults/children eating pizza
and attending orientation.
Middle School
There will be a sign up sheet for conferences on Monday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 9. Family
orientation for all middle school students and their parents will be given during these conferences. The
purpose of these mandatory conferences is to address the individual needs, expectations, and wishes of parents
and students. For this conference to be effective, please read the online handbook under Parent Center, Middle
School. Also download essential Middle School forms from our website and complete them prior to your
conference.
