Hermosa Montessori Charter School

is tuition free public school for half day kindergarten, elementary, upper elementary and middle school. Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis. When classes reach capacity, students not enrolled are placed on a waiting list. A full waiting list policy is available. Waiting list documents are available from the office or on the forms page. Before and after school care is offered for pre-school through elementary age students.

In 2005 Hermosa was recognized as one of three charter schools in the Tucson area to be labeled an ''excelling'' school by the state of Arizona. This is the highest rank the state awards to charter schools, and is given after evaluating tests scores and other assessments.

is a private school accepting 3, 4, and 5 year old students in half day morning or full day classes. Click here for more information on Hermosa's Early Childhood Program. Full day kindergarten is not funded by the state of Arizona therefore the afternoon portion of the program is tuition based. See enrollment information for more details. Enrollment preference is given to currently enrolled students who re-enroll, and siblings of currently enrolled students.
