Fund Raisers

Although Hermosa Montessori Charter School is public school open to all students in the disctrict we recive considerably less money than other schools. There are many ways to help Hermosa raise funds in order to better provide for students.

Because Hermosa Montessori Charter School a 501c(3) non profit organization, any donation or contribution made to HMCS is tax deductible. Such contributions will be placed in a general fund to help support school programs.

Aside from making a donation, the following ongoing programs listed to the right help support Hermosa Montessori School.

Albertson's
Cards are available in the office. Simply give this card to the cashier as you check out, and Hermosa will receive 3-5% in cash.

Target
Credit card applications available in the office. If you sign up for, or already have, a Target credit card and list Hermosa School on your card, Target gives the school 1% in cash of what you buy.

Schoolcash.com
If you buy items on the internet, you can go through this computer mall & Hermosa gets a percentage of what you purchase. You can buy from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, LL Bean & more by going through this mall.

Engraved Bricks
You can still purchase engraved bricks. The previous contribution was $250.00 per brick, however any contribution of $50.00 or more will be accepted. There is an additional charge of $25 for each graphic design. A brick with one picture is a minimum of $75.00, a brick with two graphics is a minimum of $100.00, etc. We currently have room for over 100 more engraved bricks in our landscaped areas.
