Registration
Registration is required for all new and returning Hermosa families and will occur on Friday, August 1st from 9:00 a.m. – noon and 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. Essential forms and informational handouts will be available by download prior to the registration date via Hermosa’s website at www.hermosaschool.org. Required State of Arizona Health Department form and Emergency Contact form may only be obtained on site at Hermosa. Completed required and essential forms must be returned by registration day or via mail prior to Friday, August 1st. Important information centers regarding school programs for the upcoming year will be available on August 1st only and staff members will be available to answer your questions.Orientation Schedule
Orientation for new students and parents:
Preschool and Kindergarten
Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. You will receive your child’s orientation and phase-in schedule at registration.
Lower Elementary
Monday, August 11 from 11:00 a.m.
Upper Elementary
12:00 noon Tuesday, August 12 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Elementary orientation is for students who are entering Lower and Upper Elementary and their parents. Orientation will include a one hour informational presentation followed by a pizza lunch. Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know your student’s teachers and peers. Starting in August you may R.S.V.P. to the front office at 749-5518 ext. 200.
Middle School
Monday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m. we will have our family orientation meeting for all middle school students and parents. There will be a sign up sheet at the orientation meeting for conferences to be held the first week of school. The purpose of the conference is to address the individual needs, expectations, and wishes of parents and students. For this conference to be effective, please read the handbook that you will receive at orientation. Please download essential Middle School forms from our website and complete them prior to your conference.
REQUIRED FORMS
Required and essential forms must be completed and returned prior to beginning the school year. Failure to return these forms will delay your student's entrance. Please read the information forms before school, and retain them for reference throughout the school year.
